The dinner was held at Manchester United and featured a tour of the museum and ground. Around 720 people sat down to a three course dinner in the largest venue the ground can offer and were treated to entertainment from:
Siren – an all girl electric string quartet
Yianni Agisilaou – an Australian comedian fresh from the Edinburgh festival,
Bogus Brothers – a lively all action band.
As well as live entertainment guests were invited to take part in a variety of games, such as Wii, Scalextric, Simulators and table games. During the evening an award ceremnony was held as well as a Charity draw in which giant scratchcards were uncovered to reveal spectacular prizes which Olympic Medal stars Kriss Akabusi and Jason Gardener announced.

Chakib Bouhdary, Chief Value Officer, S A P AG, replaces Jose Duarte, President SAP EMEA as this year’s S A P keynote speaker. Given the pivotal role that delivering value plays in S A P’s go-to-market strategy, S A P were delighted the UK User Group has granted them the opportunity to make this change to the agenda. S A P believe this focus will best address the business challenges they know their customers face and that Chakib will provide delegates with valuable insight as to how they can become best run businesses in the year ahead.
At a time when delivering value is such a key area for all organisations no matter which sector they operate in I’m delighted to have Chakib at our conference.

As expected the number of delegates continues to swell – we’ve beaten 2006 already, look set to beat 2008 early this week, and are still ahead at this stage of our best ever in 2007. With over 90 speakers and over 70 exhibitors it really does look set to be the biggest conference we have ever run. If you are going to go and haven’t booked your place yet then get in quick as there really is limited seating in the auditorium. Book on the website.
