You will be aware that over the last couple of years the User Group, as part of SUGEN (SAP User Group Executive Network), has been working with SAP on the Enterprise Support Charter, aimed at
ensuring that SAP customers get the best value from SAP’s support offerings.
As a result of this ongoing collaboration and the work of the Support Customer Advisory Council, SAP has announced that it will be extending the maintenance period for SAP R/3 4.6C customers. Without this extension all 4.6C customers would have required customer specific maintenance from 2011. However, customers will now be able to utilise the benefits of SAP’s Standard and Enterprise Support offerings until 31 March, 2013.
From 1 January 2011, SAP’s extended maintenance offering for 4.6C customers will be:
- Enterprise Support Customers: extended maintenance for 4.6C will remain part of the Enterprise Support contract free of charge
- SAP Standard Support Customers: extended maintenance for 4.6C will be offered at an additional fee of +6%
- PSLE customers: extended maintenance for 4.6C will be offered at an additional fee of +6%
