Want a discount on your Sapphire attendance?

If you are an Official SAP User Group member then you are eligible for a discount of €300 on your Sapphire ticket. Just book the ticket here and make it known you are a UK&I member and SAP will confirm that with the User Group and you will be eligible for your €300 discount.

It’s also a good time to point out that this discount could then be used to book your early bird rate conference price of £300 for our conference in the UK in November (£285 for groups of 5 or more).

If you need some help justifying this great opportunity to attend both then download this justification letter.

The UK Financial position…..the independent official state of finances.

As the press gets itself into a frenzy, some official information is starting to surface.  There follows a chart of the G7 nations and their debt as a percentage of GDP. This is supplied by the IMF and weirdly of all the G7 countries the debt for the UK is the lowest (today) of all of them. So just what is going on – the furore in the press would suggest that the UK is an absolute disaster but that just isn’t supported by the facts.

God Mode in Windows 7 – interesting…….

Avid gamers will all be aware of cheat codes in their main video games, but who knows about the God Mode in Windows 7? Doing the rounds at the moment is the following neat trick:

  • Right click on any blank space on your desktop.
  • Click new from the menu and create a New Folder.
  • Rename the folder as follow: GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
  • and all of a sudden you have access all in one place to all Windows 7 control and set up commands. Cool!

    User Group Conference 2010 – now taking bookings…..

    I have already let everyone know that our conference will stay in Manchester at Manchester Central following the overwhelming feedback from delegates and exhibitors last year.  We opened up the website last week and with no advertising whatsoever received bookings in the first 30 minutes. Such is the recognition of value for money at the event.

    Two headlines at this stage:-

    1) Ruby Wax to compere and keynote – she is now a Leadership Consultant and Executive Coach.

    2) Networking Gala Dinner to be held at the Point – Lancashire County Cricket Clubs new £12M investment that is due for completion in June this year. An event not to be missed.

    As usual we hope to have  attendance from top SAP Executives, many streams focusing on key topic areas, an expanded Business Objects area, more exhibitors than before and most importantly news and information from a variety of member organisations.
